Justice
"No Justice, No Peace" goes the liberal mantra. Which means, when translated into simple English,
that everyone must do things their way or they will destroy you. Hey, worked for Stalin and Mao, the
two current idols of the Obama Administration. But what is this "Justice" that is being talked about?
What is "Justice"?
"Justice" is the rightness of things. It is a moral idea, which is kind of funny when the Left doesn't
admit to morals. In the legal sense it is to hold people accountable for their transgressions against
society or the individual. For Americans it has always been based on the ideals of right and wrong,
good and evil, and a sense of fairness. While America has had trouble with establishing justice for all,
from the beginning of our nation through the civil rights movement, the ideal has always been the
same even though the application has been a fight. However, rightness and "justice" haven't changed
as an ideal. It was something everyone agreed on, even if not put into practice.
It is with fatalistic disgust America has been given a big dose of "Justice" from the Progressives in
Charge (PIC). Their ideal has nothing to do with "Justice" and everything to do with power.
"Justice" to Liberals means subjugation of anyone who doesn't go along with progressive Marxism.
We can see several samples of their concept starting with foreign policy. Since June of this year
captured foreign fighters were given Miranda Warnings on foreign battlefields. The new protocol is
established by the Holder Justice Department because the presumption is the terrorists will be tried in
civilian courts and therefore need Miranda Warnings. When the Republican senators began talking
about it the issue was downplayed and said to only apply to the FBI and not soldiers.
So we now provide a Miranda Warning to irregular, non-uniformed, stateless foreign fighters who
follow no rules of war, caught on foreign battlefields, because the Left does not see the war on terror
as a war at all, only a criminal matter. Which leads to the transfer of some of the terrorists at
Guantanamo Bay to New York. Some of the terrorists will now be tried in civilian courts while some
will be tried in military courts. The difference? There is none. The New York trials are show trials to
demonstrate how the Left is right on treating the terrorists as criminals. So, they are high profile
demonstrations of the Left's idea of "Justice."
But what the Marxists didn't expect was the outcry from people over the plan. With the mentality of
"We are always right" it is sometimes quite startling to Liberals that anyone would dissent. And, there
was a whole lot of dissent on bringing these vicious killers to within spitting distance to their greatest
triumph and giving them an opportunity to gloat before the world their success. Who knew?
To quickly tamp down on this rising PR disaster, Holder and Obama quickly issued statements to calm
the unwashed rednecks outside the Beltway or West of the Hudson. Listening to Obama's statement
on using the law to prosecute the terrorist in civilian court and "locking them up" when they are
already locked up in Guantanamo- from where he is trying to spring them and has been since getting
elected- requires a huge cognitive disconnect. The decision to bring Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the
number one terrorist, to the scene of his triumph was especially odious. Obama's statement of how
people wouldn't find the decision "offensive at all when he's convicted and when the death penalty is
applied to him." gave the world a good idea of what a Democrat thinks a fair and impartial justice
system looks like.
This gem came from Eric Holder, head of the Justice Department and key figure in getting Puerto
Rican terrorists freed during the waning days of the Clinton Administration so Hillary could get the
Hispanic vote in New York. " “I’m not scared of what Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has to say at trial,
and no one else needs to be afraid either.” Would this be because the Attorney General has a similar
view of America as the good Sheikh? Maybe he just doesn't get it. The Bush Administration, that
actually fought terrorists, wangled through the Congress and the courts a system of military trials that
would handle terrorists in a just way, i.e., something that wasn't a PR stunt. But whose stunt will this
turn out to be? The Obama's Justice Department has just put America on trial, not the terrorists.
What "Justice" will we see here? How can they so assure us that the terrorists will be tried and
convicted? Doesn't that take away the reason for a trial to begin with?
Justice can be an elusive concept when you have people that don't believe in right and wrong, good
and evil, and the concept of "justice" to begin with. Take the case of who gets prosecuted and who
doesn't under the Obama/Holder Justice Department. In the 2008 elections Black Panther Party
members were in front of a polling place in Philadelphia with clubs and in uniforms. The Washington
Times carried the story that career lawyers at the Justice Department were pressing forward with
charges only to have Democratic political appointees overrule them and the case was dropped.
Probably from lack of evidence... like the viral hit on You Tube that showed two men in combat type
fatigues, berets, and bloused combat boots with one holding a club standing in front of the polling
place in Philly claiming to be "security."
Or, domestically, what about ACORN? You know, the organization that was caught by two
amateurs with a video camera eager to assist in setting up child prostitution nationwide? This is the
same organization under investigation in fourteen states for voter fraud. You would think this group is
on the radar at the "Justice" Department. Nope. In fact, they just cleared the organization to resume
receiving federal funds previously approved- prior to Congress stripping (temporarily) funds due to the
prostitution scandal. If anything is to happen, look to the "Justice" Department to investigate those
who investigate ACORN.
Well, there are some people the Obama Administration can't stand. Navy Seals. Remember the
four Blackwater private security guards that were murdered in Fallujah in 2004? No? They were the
ones the Left said had it coming for being there. They were guarding supplies for a catering
company. You might have seen the pictures of their burned, charred, bodies hanging from a bridge
while locals cheered and celebrated. Well, it seems the head terrorist Ahmed Hashim Abed was
caught by three Navy Seals. But, they didn't grab him gently. One is charged with punching him in
the gut. Plus Abed was seen to have a split lip. Do you have any idea of the injustice of this? Navy
Seals being violent? He probably wasn't even Mirandized. There is even the dark rumor that there
might have been profanity involved or even the complete lack of cultural sensitivity! If the Navy
doesn't hang the three to keep in good with the Administration we can only surmise the "Justice"
Department will get involved to stand up for terrorist rights. After all, the Left is so eager to hold up
their justice free concept of "justice" for the world.
"Justice" is a concept so perverted by the Left, it remains to be seen if it can be restored to the
concept it has kept unsullied for the entire history of Western Civilization. There have been times
throughout history that there has been an utter failing to live up to the concept of justice. But it is only
now under the Progressives that the concept itself has been so thoroughly raped.
