                                                               After the Deluge

America celebrates the election of its first African American
president. The world celebrates what
might be our first Marxist/Socialist
president.  Conservatives wail and gnash their teeth while
hammering out useless plans for a third party on web sites.  Liberals cheer and congratulate
themselves on a historic victory and the capture of two of the three branches of government.
Then
they plot on how to use that capture to subvert the third branch.
 African Americans cheer the
election of our first African American president as proof anyone, even a person of color, can reach
the very heights of our nation.
The American promise now is guaranteed them too.
The press, who had worked so hard to elect Senator Obama, relaxed enough to show the night
time jubilation of young people outside the White House jumping and cheering.  The press were so
excited they forgot to edit out the fact people were waving the red hammer and sickle flag of the old
Soviet Union. But by the morning the press had recovered their composure enough to ignore the
reports of the Communist Party of the USA’s self congratulations- along with the Democratic
Socialists- cheering the election of someone they see as one of their own.
On Political Affairs, the online magazine of the Communist Party, they have a top of the page
photograph of president elect Obama with the caption “America Triumphs”.  The rest of the page,
seemed devoted to the concerns of unions and the union agenda.  It seems the CPUSA and the
unions are strictly on the same team.  Or did that come as a surprise to anyone?
One of Obama’s promises, along with the national Democratic Party, was the Employee Free
Choice Act which eliminates secret ballots in the voting to unionize or not unionize a business.  This
ensures anyone not going along with the union desires can be targeted for retribution.
Catholics also endorsed the hard line abortion supporter Barak Obama at the polls voting
overwhelmingly for the candidate with the 100% rating from NARAL.  One can only assume they
can now sleep in on Sunday and skip communion having flipped the bird at the Pope and the Church.
America, divided as never before, can at least take heart at one positive aspect of the culture war's
latest battle.  The election was without fraud!  This doesn't refer to ACORN’s criminal activity in at
least seventeen states with the hundreds of thousands of fake registrations. It refers to Diebold and
the evil Right Wing.  They apparently forgot what day the election was held.  The electronic
machines worked nationwide, except in Minnesota, where they will be finding new votes until Al
Franken finally beats Norm Coleman.
Then it will be without fraud.  But the standard we follow is
the election is perfect if the Democrats win, corrupt and stolen if they lost.  Liberals cannot conceive
of their message being rejected.  There are no stories of battalions of lawyers hitting the courts to
protest the course of the election.  No stamping of feet to eliminate the Electoral Collage.  All is in
order.
Curious how that works isn't it?  If McCain had won, would there have been riots in the street as
all the liberal pundits predicted?  Apparently there weren't riots when he lost.  All those bitter tax
payers had to get up the next morning to pay for the massive future spending planned by the new
president.  If there is wealth to spread around, someone has got to earn it.
But like the mortgage meltdown engineered and authored by the Democratic Party, the very
people who caused the world’s economies to shudder are now in full position to go ahead and
destroy the rest of it.  Already the followers of the far left are comfortable in their statements of
wealth redistribution.  This gem comes from Representative Jim Moran of Virginia:
“The American
worker has produced more per person than at any time, but it hasn't been shared, and that’s the
problem because
we have been guided by a Republican administration who believes in this
simplistic notion that people who have the wealth are entitled to keep it
and they have an
antipathy towards the means of redistributing the wealth.”
Any notion that this isn't anything but
communism should be put to rest by that statement.
After the deluge, when the next day dawns, will traditional America shake itself out of its stupor
and finally begin to remind itself of its responsibilities to individual freedom and government by the
people and for the people?  There is hope.  The nationwide ballot initiatives rejected gay marriage
and gay adoption.  Perhaps there is a chance for the nation still.  We can only hope the silent
majority, the quiet conservatives, recognize the dangers and see the tasks ahead before it is too late.
They have two years to do this and retake the Congress,  two years after that to retake the White
House.  Otherwise the future is dim for individual freedom, and the deluge is only a shower showing
the coming storm.
