The Quiet Conservative November 2, 2009
A Free Press?
When I contact potential sponsors I emphasize the lack of conservative, or traditional America's
representation in the press, in the culture, in academia, and in government. Starting with a fair and
responsible press in the form of The Quiet Conservative, I know it is necessary and self evident.
Without a fair and factual press people cannot know what is true and what is not.
Building on that network, is the defense of conservative thought in books and magazines. This gave
rise to The Quiet Conservative Books and The Quiet Conservative Magazine. There is no
comprehensive apologetics of traditional thought and academia is now solidly Marxist in nature. As
each generation is taught relative morality and revisionist history, it becomes easier and easier to move
them towards a collectivist government depended society.
With The Silent Majority Bookstores and Conservative Learning Centers, conservative thought is not
only showcased, it is taught. People can become self reliant, well informed, and traditional America,
the one designed by the Founding Fathers, can reemerge from its slide into failure.
Four companies, each designed to address the ills of progressive bound America, have yet to strike a
chord with large corporations or foundations. Instead, groups and individuals have expended their
efforts in fighting battles on individual topics. Some fight for a sane energy policy. Some fight for the
free market. Some fight for their Second Amendment rights. But they fight uncoordinated. They fight
sometimes against each other. And, to be perfectly blunt as I usually am, they are having their hats
handed to them by techno savvy liberals and foundations that have succumbed to Marxist management.
If I could provide one simple example of the opponents of American exceptionalism, it would be
George Soros's Open Society Institute. At almost a billion dollars he is using the money in a coherent
fashion to make America Socialist. His opposition? None. How can I say that and send this letter to
foundations dedicated to principles opposite his? Because he is coordinating his battles and you are not.
When people take to the streets for Tea Party protests it is with great chagrin I realize that traditional
America has become the counter culture, not the culture. This is only possible because of the lack of
coordination on our part.
The Quiet Conservative is the method of information needed to inform people. It is the nexus of
coordination in the war against Socialism. We need a unified response. We need a unified platform.
Because once the information war is lost, all the battles fought by individuals will be futile.
The Free Press and Free Press Action Fund, (two faces of one organization) have been making the
news lately. Only because of Glenn Beck. But they are doing what we are trying to do, but they are
doing it to destroy America. This means they have plenty of funding. They started off with a million
from the Open Society Institute. This means they are well supported and influential. Never heard of
them? No reason you should. But how about the FCC? These are the people that control the airwaves.
Mark Lloyd, who Glenn Beck talks about, is the chief diversity officer and associate general councilor,
he is a major figure with the organization. He is trying to crush talk radio, the only bastion of
conservative thought reaching a mass audience. Or how about Jen Howard? Accuracy in Media states
this former Free Press official is now the press secretary for the FCC.
The point is, when you look at the Free Press web site www.freepress.net, you see progressives, (i.e.
Marxists, Socialists, Communists, or whatever you wish to name totalitarian enemies of freedom) are
actively seeking to restructure the press to promote exclusively leftist information. To do this they are
actively seeking to suppress any opposition. They are well on their way.
In their 2008 annual report, this effort to control information from the Internet through talk radio down
to the new emerging media forms are supported by: Steve and Paula Child Foundation, Democracy
Alliance, Dudley Foundation, Ford Foundation, Frances Foundation, Glaser Progress Foundation, Haas
Charitable Fund, Media Democracy Fund, Morgan Family Foundation, Nathan Cummings Foundation,
Open Society Institute, Overbrook Foundation, Park Foundation, Philanthropic Collaborative, Quixote
Foundation, Revson Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Foundation, Sandler Supporting Family
Foundation, Streisand Foundation, Sardna Foundation, Tom Creek Foundation, Wallace Global Fund,
William B. Weiner, and the Woodstock Foundation. Total listed on their annual report is 4.3 million
dollars.
What have capitalists, pro life family foundations, major corporations, conservatives put forward in
their effort to coordinate a real press that will provide factual information to the nation at large? ZERO
DOLLARS. In fact, it takes weeks to even get them to return a phone call. So while journalism is
converted to anti capitalistic propaganda machines, while the Internet is subjected to new FCC controls
that will throttle conservatism online, while talk radio is under assault, the people who are in charge of
the battles are losing the war. The resources are there. The tools are there. But not one has picked
them up. Not one person will help. The Internet? Talk Radio? A factual press? A strong America?
I'll miss them when they are gone.
