Civility.
The purpose of all these sample editorials is to show an alternative view to the monolithic control of
information in the media by committed Leftists, and sometimes less committed Leftists. But I wonder
if, in trying to reach people who can finance a return to reason, if we haven't already decayed too far.
This isn't the best time to write an editorial. I'm tired having worked over into the early morning on
overtime, and perhaps a nap can improve my perspective that people really do get the government they
deserve. And that they deserve what they are getting at the moment. The reason for the overtime is to
make as much money as possible to try and retain the same level of food and gas as a family because
everything costs more. Yet, the harder I work the best result is I am treading in place, and sinking
slowly.
The press is beating the drum that the financial crisis is the Republican fault for not wanting to spend
more money that we don't have, in giving it to people that won't work but feel they deserve it. Plus, we
need more people working in the government to ensure that the money gets taken from the people that
do work and give it to those that don't, because Communism is a moral imperative and is what the
Founding Fathers would have wanted had they not been evil white European slave holders.
Yea, I think a nap would help on the bitterness angle.
So while the press is pressing for the Republicans to cave on allowing increase spending, albeit at a
slower rate for those Tea Party Nazis, no one is even remotely considering actually cutting spending.
Brian Williams, the real life model for the Ken doll, asked Senator Mitch McConnell on NBC
Thursday, "Why shouldn't rich folks pay more?"
Now, who cares what Senator McConnell said in response! The question alone irritates me. Do you
think Comrade Williams is paying more than the very minimum he has to? Do you think he takes
deductions on his taxes? Don't you think he has accountants playing games on paper to minimalize his
tax exposure? Do you think Brian Williams, who makes between ten and thirteen million dollars
($$$)a year is kicking a lot extra into the kitty? Think he is voluntarily contributing extra to reduce the
national debt? Think he is writing that check to the IRS saying "take more, please?" Let's give
Comrade Williams his way. Take his money. He can make $50,000 a year and the other $11,950,000
or so, is in the treasury for Harry Reid and Chairman Obama to spend. Think that is going to happen?
If it did, do you think he would be so blasé about soaking the rich? By which he means everybody but
him? He would actually care about what Washington is doing with all that money. He would scream
like a stuck pig! But do you think that would ever happen?
No. I don't either. Nothing is stopping him from writing that check, though. But the truth of the matter
is that at his level he doesn't give a crap. If it all falls apart he will jet to his island villa in some third
world rat hole and say to his local servants he's paying a dollar a day that it was the Right Wing that
brought it all down. They just didn't care about the little person like he did. That's liberalism in a nut
shell folks. They are the most generous people on Earth with other people's stuff. Never their own.
So while NBC calls for communism as a solution to the problems communism has brought as Federal
policy, on the other political front the People's Chairman, Chairman Obama, has called for fuel
standards of over 50 miles per gallon as the new fuel standard for cars by 2025. Which either means
you will be in a pedal car or riding a horse. There goes the auto industry. Already you see nothing but
clown cars being advertised as the next new hottest thing on television. As if any family of more than
three skinny people can fit in one of those disposable, recyclable death traps. It's a good thing Catholics
aren't Catholic anymore. Imagine the family of six trying to get in a little Chevy Aveo or a Smart car.
Of course, everyone is out of work or soon to be, so we won't be driving anywhere. And with the new
nationalized health care and one child only policy from the central committee, it shouldn't be too much
of a strain on everyone's carbon allowance.
Speaking of Catholics and nationalized health care, our own home-town-Catholic-girl-made-good,
Kathleen Sebelius has mandated that all health care plans provide birth control with no co-pays. Hey,
thanks a lot US Council of Catholic Bishops who supported Obamacare! I'm sure you didn't see that
coming from the former Governor and all around Catholic in good standing Sebelius, the number one
paid stooge of the late, late term abortion doctor Tiller...no, no, that sounds too harsh. It's my 'needs a
nap' thing. I'm sure she gave lots of dinners for other late term abortion providers at the governor's
mansion before rushing off to communion at mass. That's no reason to call her a stooge. I apologize.
Let's just say if the bishops really wanted to stand for being Catholic, they would stand for being
Catholic and stop the formal cooperation with evil. Instead, they probably don't mind that Kathleen
Sebelius is still a Catholic in good standing who has innocent blood up to here elbows. She does have
connections to people in high places! Just not the high places the bishops were supposed to have
connections to.
Meanwhile, speaking of innocent people getting killed, the Syrians are driving tanks over their citizens
(adult fetuses as opposed to the little ones we kill in this country), but since we are already bombing
Libyan civilians to save them from Libyan tanks, we'll just have to give those Syrians killing Syrians a
pass. One illegal war unauthorized by the Constitution, Federal law, or the Congress at a time please. If
you forgot we were involved in that Libyan kinetic military action, thank the press. They are making
sure it isn't covered.
Oh, and the whole space thing is over. I was going to write about that instead, but it was too pathetic.
It seems that while we are out of the space business, the socialists in charge, (you know, the ones with
the reset button), are sure their pals the Russians will give us a hitch up to the space station we built...as
long as we pay them up front. Then, all of a sudden the Russians announced when and where they
were going to crash the space station into the ocean. Who'd a thunk it? It seems the ones with the
access makes the rules. How can we object? They decide now, not us. The international space station
is only as international as the people who fly there say it is. Of course, there isn't anything to worry
about with Putin saying of the US, "They are living like parasites off the global economy and their
monopoly of the dollar." The brilliant Liberals in this country think the guy who invaded Georgia and
hates the US is just the kind of guy to rule space and be nice to us because we really want to be liked
and we did apologize for the fall of the Soviet Union.
Speaking of nice and wanting to be liked, there is the whole civility thing where Democrats and their
press agents (the media) demand that Republicans and conservatives stop being mean: “The GOP has
become the Wahhabis of American government, willing to risk bringing down the whole country in
the service of their anti-tax ideology....These people are willing to go right into Armageddon, not
face the warning signs. Go right off the cliff...” Oh, that's Chris Matthews as quoted by the Media
Research Center. A liberal a weenie as they come. How civil.
Yea, I remember now! Civility is the new tone. If you oppose anything the socialists want, you aren't
being civil. In fact, Nancy Pelosi is trying to save life as we know it from being wiped clean off the
planet by fiscal restraint. She is sure being more civil about it than the rest of the Socialist Elites.
They have just settled on saying the Republicans are holding the economy, the Congress, and America
"hostage." Who holds people hostage? Why terrorists of course! Just ask Vice President Biden who
thinks responsible people who work and don't want their tax money wasted are evil terrorists. Even
last election cycle's media favorite Democrat candidate for president, John McCain, called Republicans
who wanted to stop the corruption "hobbits." The socialist candidate for President who beat him says a
lot about everything without saying a thing, so I'm not sure his take on the whole thing. But I know
he'll take credit for not having done anything, while placing the blame on everyone and everything else
if things go horribly wrong.
Civility. Only one side has to play that game. I'm not being very civil about it, so I think I'll go take
that nap. Got to work all the harder to make up for the fact that I'm selfish working in the first place.
